Matterport's Winter 2025 release: Marketing Cloud, Merge and Defurnish

Matterport shipped its Winter 2025 release on 25 February 2025 under the banner "Productivity Multiplied". Three parts of it change how VirtualSpace delivers work.

Marketing Cloud

A hub that turns a scan into a full listing package: photos, floor plans, video and the tour, ready in one to two business days in most major metros. For agents this collapses several vendors into one order. VirtualSpace Spatialists are among the capture partners fulfilling those orders.

Merge

Several operators can scan a property at the same time and combine their work, up to 2,000 scan points, into one digital twin. Large hotels and office towers that used to take a single Spatialist three days can now be done in one by a team.

Defurnish and smart tags

AI defurnishing removes furniture from views for a clean look at the shell, and tag management lets a team apply the same annotations across many models. Both are useful for renovation previews and for facilities teams standardising documentation.
